Ten years ago, I traveled to Italy and discovered the brand Mywalit. I purchased four different wallets at the time and was very satisfied with their quality. When I saw the launch of the Bosco series recently, I was immediately drawn to the color, which is exactly the kind of tone I love.
Since I’m not able to purchase directly in Italy this time, I decided to try ordering through the international official website for the first time. The overall experience was very positive—my order arrived as expected, and I could easily track the shipping status throughout the process.
Although the product photos on the official website appeared a bit too bright and not quite the color I wanted, I checked the photos on the Japanese official site and noticed that the brown shade seemed deeper there—closer to what I was looking for. So I decided to take the chance, and I’m very happy that the actual color turned out perfectly.
Design-wise, I still love the style very much. However, I noticed that the leather isn’t as soft as the one I bought ten years ago, the zipper is not as smooth, and the leather smell has a heavier plastic scent. My previous wallets were made in Thailand and had excellent quality. The one I received this time is made in Vietnam, and I’m unsure whether the difference in manufacturing location has affected the quality.
I truly hope that if Mywalit wants to maintain its strong brand reputation, the consistency of product quality should be carefully addressed. I do not mind where the products are made—providing job opportunities in Vietnam is a wonderful thing—but the quality standard should remain just as high across all production origins.
